The Vessel

Built for Speed is a 24ft Zeta deep V wood/fiberglass constructed express cruiser.  Crafted locally by reputable British Columbia boatbuilder Zeta Marine, Captain Speed has personally modified and rigged Built for Speed with only the highest quality hardware & Salmon fishing equipment. The a 8'6" beam, deep V hull, with 4-person custom cushioned seating area make for a very comfortable ride in all sea and weather conditions.

There's a canvas raincover/dropcurtain to protect you rain or shine ,  an on-board heater for colder days and both a cooler and 12Volt fridge to keep drinks and snacks chilled. A private washroom is on board.

Built for Speed is powered by a 2017 Mercruiser383 MPI Inboard & BravoIIIleg, a safe reliable power package. Fishing on the Mercury 15HP4Stroke is fumeless and quiet.

The vessel is fully insured, Transport Canada inspected and carries all safety equipment  required to meet all requirements for charter operation.

Standard/Horizon VHF radio, AM/FM stereo IPOD ready, a host of quality controls & hardware.

Along with a huge range of fine salmon trolling tackle  for all species and conditions, Built for Speed is rigged with 4 Scotty electric high speed HP2106 downriggers for excellent depth coverage. Fishing rods are 10.5ft soft tipped rods, quality Islander MR3 reels.
